Warming shelter tonight in Acccord

As of 4PM this date, Central Hudson reports approximately 2,100 customers still without power. The majority of customers are in the Wawarsing, Rochester, Marbletown and Rosendale areas. Therefore, a single centralized shelter is being established at the Accord firehouse on Main Street in Accord. The Kingston Chapter of the American Red Cross will open the shelter beginning at 7 PM this evening. It will remain open throughout the night. Any resident of the County that is without power is welcome at the shelter.
