Additional tetanus shot opportunities / Household Appliance Grant

The Ulster County Health Department has announced two additional tetanus vaccination clinics for first responders directly involved with the response to Irene/Lee. They will be at the the UCDOH clinic at 230 Aaron Court in Kingston on 9/23 from 4-6 PM and at the Trudy Farber Building in Ellenville on 9/26 from 4-6 PM.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)will provide $8 million toward the purchase of appliances destroyed during Irene/Lee. Energy star rated refrigerators, washer/dryers, boilers, hot water heaters, furnaces and dehumidifiers are all potentially eligible.
