Hurricane Irene Advisory # 7

Heavy rain and strong winds have battered the county all night.
Doppler radar estimates of 3+ inches of rain in portions of the County thus far.
Currently there are at least 12,000 Central Hudson and 2,200 NYSEG customers without power.

The Town of Rochester has declared a state of emergency and issued a special order for no traffic on any town roads.

Please review previously released tips on power outages and downed lines.

When safe to do so, damage reports should be e-mailed to this office.
