FEMA deadline extended again

The time frame for applying for FEMA and NYS assistance in the recovery from June flooding has been extended to October 16, 2006. Anyone experiencing a loss to their primary residence or business may apply for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA and 1-888-7-NYSAID.

ICS 300 & ICS 400 courses

The New York State Emergency Management Office will be offering an ICS 300 class from October 23-25 at the SEMO Region 2 facility in Poughkeepsie, and an ICS 400 class from October 17-19 at the Orange County Fire Training Center in New Hampton.
